>Hi,

At least this has been my experience with VFP – am I wrong? I have a client that is running a VFP6 program on a Novell network and no matter what type of form I create (even forms that have no data requirements) it always takes the same time to display the form. Depending on the form it takes between 3-10 seconds to display. I find this surprising. On my network the form is cached.

John;

Where is the application - on the server or client machines? 10T or 100T? Hub or switch? Lots of possibilities and the list goes on....
