Hi Terry, thanks for answering. We won't have to deliver the contracts foxpro. We currently have a diagram that shows the flow as to where the contracts need to be reviewed. Also most of these contracts belong to grant so they go thru approval and review process. There is a timeline that will need to set for these contracts and also email the person reminding them that contracts needs to be reviewed, signed, and moved onto next phase. One of the problems we have is there is no way of tracking the current phase the contract is in. Things get misplaced, contracts are nearing their due dates and commuication breaks down between individuals. I was thinking of creating a program that tracks what phase the contract is in, emailing capabilities (in novell groupwise) reminding individual of deadlines approaching, and if possible create a generic template so the can replicate the flow of contract and the also add more features to contract. Almost all contracts are going to end up in Microsoft word Document. We will usually scan proposal or draw them up in doc. Visual represent of the contract flow would be a bonus, but not necessary. I would be nice if I can tap in groupwise calandering and notification features though foxpro.
