William, I didn't say you could not, I'm saying that, under some circumstances, there are reasons that using asp.net is more confortable:
- if the web developer, and web designer doesn't have a vfp background
- if you don't own the web server and the ISP doesn't want to host dll, ecc.
and many others.

Please trust me I love VFP and I'll love to have vfp (AS IT IS NOW) ask me, when I choose "Create a New Project":
"hello Franco, do you want to build a web site, a desktop application, a Pocket Pc app, or what else?"
as .net developers can do now.
