I have read many messages in the UT about backing up application data from inside if VFP using third party utilities such as FoxSQZ and DynaZip. However, many comments highlight problems with these products which I would rather avoid - FoxSQZ floppy drive not ready, and DynaZip having problems with files spanning disks.

There does not appear to be a reliable product on the market.

Can someone tell me if there is any way I can call the Win95 Backup program from inside of VFP with parameters? I use several Window calls now to do things such as stopping my users from opening another copy of the application.

From my users perspective, it would save them learning another backup program, and I certainly am daunted at the task of writing it myselfl. The Windows 95 Backup handles everything I need - compression, spanned disks, so why can't I use it?
