>ISE has issues, for sure:-) He does all sorts of things with my project folders. For example, I have a root folder that contains related projects. Before ISE I could rename the root folder. After ISMs were created, I got "access denied", even though ISE was as dormant as a shortcut.

Maybe ISLE creates south hemisphere shortcuts, so they are not dormant in December? Maybe they're only pretending?

My list of issues with ISLE is far longer...
- it reads file dates as strings, thinking they must be in mmddyy format. Sorts them any way it knows
- the MSI which comes with VFP7 doesn't include foxhelp, have to add it manually
- once you uninstall your app, your VFP loses help
- to add an MSI from elsewhere, the drag+drop works, but only if you've opened the directory where it is, and ISLE's MSI directory. IOW you have to copy them and restart ISLE
- ISLE refuses to get installed if your firewall doesn't let it call home and tell
- you don't really know which dlls are you installing, unless you dig up depends.exe from somewhere and check for yourself. Even then, you don't really know which ones are in which MSI
- its GUI is written in IE4 or IE5, using a bunch of treeviews and such, snail slow
- on the positive note, it has some sense of humor: the message "building language English" stays there long enough to be noticed. Obviously, building a language isn't taken lightly.
