Welcome. I visit this forum daily, but there hasn't been any activity in months. Overall, Universal Thread seems to be grounded in Microsoft (e.g. Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, Dot Net, ASP, and the Microsoft folks don't seem to have much use for perl.

I'm in the process of writing a Shopping Cart Application in perl, so I'm using it daily, but I'm not a perl guru. I also use Linux as my desktop OS and I have a Linux web server.
