Was the server changed to use authenticated email and did u stopped using it (wwipstuff) at that point? Trying to understand if you did or did not use VFP6 & wwipstuff to send auth emails...

>I used it in the past when I used to run our user group mailing list. It worked fine. But this was before our server was changed.

>>>My email server will not allow me to send a message until I 'check messages'. As soon as a check is performed, the send is allowed. The idea is that a spammer cannot use the SMTP server to simply bounce messages through because only authenticated users are allowed.

>>>I can see this in Outlook when I create a new message, and try to send (send happens in Outlook before Receive). It will error on the send... but if I immediately try to send again - no problems.
