>We are using a software program by Icode called Everest. We are moving from a Foxpro compatible Advantage Database Server to SQL. I have written 60 basic foxpro programs and want to be able to quickly and easily convert them for use with the SQL data. I don't know anything about objects and fancy stuff as my Forxpro experience and code writing still looks a lot like it did in the DOS days. Luckily most of the tables have the same names, indexes and schema.
>- How do I access the SQL data? Do I have to create views for every table?
>- How can I use the indexes in the SQL database to order my data?
>- Are there any 3rd party products which will allow me to manipulate the SQL data as if it was a local Foxpro DBF?
>- Is there any place I can go to read about this subject?

New VFP8.o has cursor adapter class, which work in same way with DBS and SQLServer
