Hi again Arto

You know your situation best, my comments were mostly ment as general tips.

In the case you mention where you have software to search the internet for info, this sounds more like a job for a workstation, not a server. I have many workstations in my system with no keyboard, mouse or monitor to do such tasks. Whenever we need to do some changes to the computers, we do so via remote control. But you of course know your own specific needs better than I do.

With (only 24 years experience) I'v noticed that it is much better to test any new installation or configuration somewhere else than in your clients server. Related to the previous I got time to time works like "can you test product A in environment B before installation" too. Also very often admins has installed or wnat to install some necessary (they think) tools to that SERVER to solve problems IN that server. Tools like searching answers from the internet and reading related material (like PDFs). I can understand that, it's easier if not recommended.
