Todd,

I think what is confusing the issue is that your original post stated that you have Crystal 8.5 on a remote server. It sounds like what you meant is that you have Crystal 8.5 installed on your workstation and trying to run reports off of remote data (Oracle). If that's the case, then licensing should not be an issue.
