Is the Windows 2000 server up-to-date on Service Packs?

>We have some legacy DOS applications that are written in Foxpro 2.5 that use implicit file locking. The problem we encounter from time to time is that sometimes if an application crashes or locks up, a data file will get left in a state that prevents anyone from opening it until the file server is restarted.
