Actually, I tried to state the exact opposite. The only event that matters to this creature is the change of state between 0 and 1. What I mean by that is that the change from 0 to 1 is the creatures only concept of time. If the change from 0 to 1 took 3 seconds or 3 years from our outside perspective, it would still only exist as a single instant to the creature.
