It is difficult to estimate the impact that ebook piracy had over Hentzenwerke, but this wouldn't change from VFP to Linux books, anyway.

What's very likely is that ebook piracy won't hurt paper books sales so significantly than they would to a ebook-only edition. An ebook is so terribly easy to copy and share that in most cases it happens almost unconcious.
