Actually, I was looking it up <g>...but under the Activator, so I was getting myself crossed up. I had to do one more thing, which was...

oControl = (UserControl)oDLL.CreateInstance("MyContainer1");

...and then it worked.

This kind of thing, and use of GETTYPE, are about as far as I think I'll need to go for runtime evaluation. I haven't (yet) had the need to execute full lines of code.
