I remember an article about downsizing and outsourcing recently. It was basically about employees that had been outsourced griping because of managment not being affected in anyway but only the 'minions' so to speak. The example they used was a company that had outsourced all of its shipping to an outside company. They still had one employee in the shipping department though: the Vice President of Shipping. Made no sense to me and I'm not sure what he was responsible for!

>Eh, well, if a theory is proven untrue it is no longer a theory. Its crap.

>The accepted theories are crap too, we just haven't found a reason to justify why it is crap, so we accept it until that happens. :-)

>This is why the former Professor of the Scientific Method at the London School of Economics (Sir Karl R. Popper) held the opinion that the so-called scientific method doesn't exist beyond the method of the critical rationalist and scientific knowledge doesn't exist beyond conjectural knowledge.

>(Whats most interesting about this is that the Professor of the Scientific Method claims that the scientific method doesn't exist, yet keeps his job. I don't know how the great thinkers manage to pull this stuff off!)
