This works, although I'm shown the following warning message:

Connection failed:
SQLState: '28000'
SQL Server Error: 18452
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'administrator'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

If I select 'Ok', then click the 'Use Trusted Connection' the connection is opened and works. This is clearly an issue with how I've set-up my SQL server, the database, or the user accounts, but I don't know which option to change to allow the dynamic connection.
