While I don't agree 100% with what's written in "Code Complete", I do agree that anyone, who wants to become a better programmer and hasn't read it should.

I've always been someone, as you know, who's willing to "put my money where my mouth is". To this end, I've purchased two copies of it for others. One was as a Christmas present. The other as a response to an offer I made to our group (5 other programmers). I offered to buy the book for anyone who would promise they would read it and did so.
