... The project is not configured to be debugged."

Hello out there!

Kevin includes this as a FAQ in the Developers Guide but none of his suggestions bring relief.

I have also tried everything I can find in help

I am running VS C# 2003 with the MM .Net Framework on a Windows SBS 2003 server. IIS was installed before VS .Net and I have since repaired (= reinstalled) VS .Net .

I am following the Jump Start Web Form Application C# with my own BO solution that had worked for the Windows form. Debug gives the above version of the error message.

Checking the web.config shows debug set to true

If I run without debugging it throws an error in win.config at the line

authentication mode="Windows"

saying:

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

How do I interpret that?

Any help will be appreciated
