I think it is good for 3 stars - as long as the object "msmonitor.application" will be available on the most know computers. If it is normaly not installed (say with the OS or VFP) or normal programmer would not have the idea he need something else (as for "excel.application") then it's up to the initiator of the thread.

In general there is no need to explain anything in detail - often a suggestion is good enough.

But this is the discussion between stochastic and deterministic solutions, isn't it?

Somebody on this forum (sorry for my low brain) has a link to to something like "How to ask the smart way".
