Thanks for trying to help Diane. Yes the table that I was as the source for the first 2 colums (i.e. vendor#, vendor name) has been created, and contains data. I have not put any functionality into the grids's init event method. Do I need to?
When using the grid builder tool, I believe I have correctly bound the object to the table, since when I click on the layout tab, I see my 3 columns containing the table's data. But when I do the form, all that appears is a blank white rectangle.
I very much appreciate any more guidance you can offer, or code examples so I can see how a working grid *does* work, to use as a model for my object.
