So far when I have experienced this type of problem it has been due to a problem with the control source of the object. Is there any difference between how objects are populated with data between those that properly instantiate and those that do not ? In other words are control sources of an object different for those that work and those that do not?

Different control sources could be a view, SQL Statement, Table, passing a variable or whatever.

Minimise and maximise the application or ALT-TAB to any other open application and come back and all the controls are now displayed.
