If he first opened it with Modi comm, its session properties (or whatever we may call them) were stored for that file in foxuser, so no matter how he opens it later, it will be set as it first was.

Need to find the record with the settings for that file in foxuser and delete it. Packing the table also wouldn't hurt.

Maybe this is not the same way today - I've seen it in previous versions quite often.
