ShellExec i of Windows, but to work with URL's you need
a browser installed. The other ways depend on IE, and I think
URLDownloadToFile was later added - but even before that
you could use the functions exported by WinINet (also
dependant in IE being installed) to write a 15-liner yourself.
There even was some How-to code in MSDN some years ago
written in vfp.
