I thought getting a report to Word was going to be easy. And it is, kind of. The problem is that in both Mind's Eye and XFRX the document uses some sort of textbox. So each element on report becomes a unique element in the Word document and the document can't be edited like a normal Word doc. This makes it a pain to work with and also makes it slow to print. I thought generating an RTF via XFRX would solve the problem, but it did the same thing. Do the other products that promise Word output do this? Maybe it's the only way to get the absolute positioning, but it makes for a Word document that is uneditable, for all intents and purposes.]
