>>I probably need to be more clear. This isn't necessarily about which control to use. As far as I can tell the DateTime control lists dates to choose from and I need the user to have the functionality to select any date, not from a long list. I was thinking of using the Calendar control, but was really asking about UI Design rather than specific controls. I'm looking for the best way to offer entry and date selection with 2 date textboxes.

Then I must be missing something. That control does not allow me to enter a full date without using the mouse. I can enter the month which is highlighteed, but it remains on the month portion of the textbox. If I click with the mouse on the day or year portion then I can change those values. I can also use the arrow to get the calendar which works fine. How can I simply enter "mmddyyyy" and have it accepted into this control. I did not find a property regarding that, but it wouldn't be the first time that happened.
