It doesn't matter, once the parser sees an & macro in a line of code it stops even trying to parse the line. It marks it as needing to be compiled at runtime and goes on to the next line.

Besides we've given you several options for rewriting this particular code without needing to use & macros, which is what you'll need to do if you want full checking of your code at prg save time.
