>Political satire has been going on in this country for many years. Some people make a living doing it. Mark Twain did his share of political satire and was far from a reverent man. I can remember jokes about our presidents beginning with President Eisenhower.

This is the question:

Political satire or somebody trying to destroy the reputation of a president ??

I did not read the journal.. But, for sure the Brazil's governor receive this not as some Political satire..

>Even presidents make fun of other politicians. President Johnson said this about Gerald Ford, who was a senator at the time: “He can’t chew gum and walk at the same time”! And, Johnson also said about Ford, “He forgot to wear his helmet when he played football”! How many times did Gerald Ford fall down in front of cameras while he was President?

Even here on UT we need to have some care when we have to express some opnions.. Language barrier are quite difficult stuff to deal with it..

Most of time, brazilian jokes are not audible for americans.. And, same for americans jokes..

I believe this is the type of case of a big misunderstood..
