I am not with MS but I can safely assume - based on past experience - the answers to your questions:

>Will it be legal with the beta to compile and distribute apps to end users?
Not really. And why would you want to use Beta development software in a production app to paying clients/end users?

Besides the legal aspects, Beta software may be slower and a little bloated because it generally contains debugging code not intended for the production version. Beta software is still under test, IOW not ready for prime time. Therefore, some features may change or may not be available at production time due to many unforseen reasons. Are you really wanting to risk your programs on Beta software? You realize that you risk your customer business and data on test software? You realize that you will be to blame when the customer comes at you for these types of potential problems?

>Will the beta have a time bomb?
Probably, as it has happenned before.

>If so, will the release version come out before the beta time expires?
Based on past experience, I am sure it will be more or less on time. The VFP Group is very good and, barring any unforseen problems, they deliver on their promises.
