Thanks for that.I've a quick question
at the moment we created setup(our applaication VIP8) using Installshield but all our clients at the moment having our appl installations created by vfp6 setup wizard.

To move from vfp6 to vfp8....
A quick way is to uninstall existing vfp6 installs manually (ofcourse this is one time only) and install our latest Installshield setup. From then on we can configure Installshield to update existing installation without uninstalling anything manually to update our latest builds.

But some of our clients may not/does not like this manual uninstall so we've to find an alternative or some custom action to do abv action during vip8 install.
and
currently if u install a latest vip build at one workstation and other workstations get updated with latest files when they login .
so we need to consider this one also.i mean if a user installs vip8 at his workstation and other workstation must be updated automatically when they login to VIP

I'm wondering if u have any ideas or suggestions on this or could u point me to some useful resource.
