Heya Jordan - so far - its the standard ol thing for the 'knee jerk' reactions from 'clients' -
1. MS Still puts out VFP ?
2. We don't have 120 mil in sales - does that mean we don't qualify as a small business for using MS products ?

So at least I run into the same thing here as in China and the USA. [no big surprise]

From a developer 'marketability' standpoint - its the same old 'thing' -
Clients typically don't care what the IDE is, as long as the deployed app works on the desktop with a minimum of fuss.

as for the food ? yak - it's not just chinese food - there's a whole nother set o stuff with Indian, Malay, native Sing food.. My first two nights here I spent getting my body re-acclimated to real curry dishes [woo hoo!]

ime/o, Chinese food sold in 'Chinese' resturants in the USA have been 'Americanized' for the palette, but surely I digress into thread drift.
