The reason I ask, is that I wanted to try and configure object pooling in COM+, thinking this may help the performance. It is disabled in the Component Services properties dialog box for my object.

I did a little research on MSDN.

This is what I found,
Language Restrictions
Components developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and earlier cannot be pooled because these components will be apartment-model threaded. However, in Visual Basic .NET, components can be pooled.

I assume this is the same with VFP 8
