I am having an issue with replication.

This is what I am trying to do.

I have Server1 that has SQL 2000 Standard and Server 2 that has SQL 200O Enterprise installed.

I have tried to initiate Transactional replication from Server1 to Server2 without any luck.

Could someone please point me to a step by step guide on how to setup replication.

Also, for some reason, when I double click on Server 1 SQL Server Service Manager, I do not see Distributed Transaction Coordinator. This has got me wondering if there is something up with Server 1.

Anyhow, I honestly expected myself to spend an hour configuring first Merge Replication then Transactional Replication but obviously this is not the case.
