Hi Craig.
I think I am totally confused now !!!!

Theoretical Scenario as follows:

One existing Windows 2003 server
5 existing Pc' , each with windows XP installed and each one currently connected to the server.

New Scenario:
Each of the 5 exisiting XP's want simultaneios access to a SQL Server database

What would the likely Sql server license costs/requirements for this be ?

Regards,

Gerard

>Depending on what they are doing on the server, they MAY need a Client Access License (CAL) to access the Windows server. If needed, it is in addition to the SQL Server license and in addition to the Windows license for the the workstation.
