>...Microsoft does not have plans to merge VFP into Visual Studio and .NET, but instead we are working on adding as many great features found in VFP into upcoming versions of Visual Studio....

Hi Ken,
what you say really sound like a merge, it depends on how many (and which) are the features that will be added! :)
But the way, this sounds very good, and I hope that the number of features added will be high.
Maybe we will not have VFP 10 because its "key features" (data-centric, and so on) will be included in the next version of VS.NET, the name it's not important, the features yes they are.

When you say "...we are working on adding ...", with "we" do you mean you and the VFP Team?
If yes:
1) will you send to the VFP community a sort of list of this features, written in a "VFP way" and explicitly for the VFP programmers?
2) Will be there a possibility to create a sort of wish list of the features to add to Vstudio?

thanks
Franco
