I was wrong before. The positioning problem was with the horizontal lines, not the text. Adding
margin: 0px to each of the CSS elements for the horizontal lines causes them to render properly in Mozilla, with no ill effect on IE (as far as I can tell). Coupled with Garrett's fixes, we have a nearly identical report in both IE and Mozilla.
