A cursor is a DBF, so what ? Walter was talking about the back-end database engine. A cursor is used locally and EXCLUSIVE so it doesn't incur the same issues as networked DBFs.
That said, I don't find your contributions very constructives. I don't really understand why you come on a forum devoted to a tool you dismissed 7+ years ago. That's not to say you don't have any valid points, but the way you push them are a bit unelegant to say the least.
