Guys like Walter theorize that becuase the VFP language is tightly bound with data-related constructs, that makes it "data centric". The only thing that really distinguishes VFP from other tools is that it is client-based. In the end, the only difference is geography... Finally, if people are looking to push and sell VFP, being able to munge data on the client is fairly insignificant thing in the grand scheme of things.

SQL server is just a database, not a full blown programming language. You really don´t know what you´re talking about huh ?
