Have you installed a pop-up blocker type software? Or anything like that? They will sometimes just stop everything. What about allowing activex controls enable or prompt in IE)? How about java... is the site using that?

>>>I'm baffled.

>>>My Win2K server (which I use as a web application staging server) is suddenly unable to browse the internet and many applications are not running (or running very slowly) which I THINK is a consequence of this connectivity problem. It also takes forever to boot.

>>>The odd thing is, you can connect from the internet to browse the hosted web sites and applications, and I can connect using RDP and VNC - so incoming traffic seems OK.
>>>
>>>I can't bring up 'network connections' so it's hard to diagnose - but I can't imagine what to check, anyway.

>>>Event Log has some startup services timing out because they took too long to start.
>>>
>>>Any suggestions? NIC maybe?
