>We used a different approach. The middle layer & database layer are written in c# and front-end( asp.net) in vb.net.

Vlad;

That approach is one endorsed by an article I read from Microsoft. Use VB.Net for the UI and productivity, and C sharp for classes. When I think of this approach I cannot see the reasoning. VB.Net seems to allow me to be more productive regardless of creating the UI or classes. I have been using VB.NET and C sharp to see which one I want to use for a major project that will begin in a few days. Learning anything new is fun to me. Especially when I get paid to learn! :)
