Using VFP 9.0 beta and adding a 2nd Detail band, I have discovered that there are problems with fields that have “stretch with overflow” properties set, when the field overflows to the next page. It seems to cause the next two pages to be blank.
Also the field’s overflow text is lost, and sometimes the following one or two records are not printed.


The following fields will work correctly if all in Detail-Band-1 and field overflow will correctly overflow onto new pages:

Detail Band-1: ProductNo: ProdName:
Detail Band-1: Proddetails: (memo with stretch with overflow ticked)


Now, to get the bad behaviour, add a 2nd Detail Band to the report, and place a long field there with the “stretch with overflow” field property ticked. (also tick remove line if blank)

Detail Band-1: ProductNo: ProdName:
Detail Band-2: Proddetails: (memo with stretch with overflow ticked)

Preview the report and when you get a field at the bottom of a page that has some overflow to the next page, you seem to find that the next 2 report pages are blank.
(Also the overflow field data will be lost, and always the next record, sometiomes even two or three records will not print). The next few pages will be ok again until there is more overflow from the record field at the bottom of the page. Then you will get 2 more blank pages again.

Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?
