There won't be a change to old-style preview in this respect. Craig already told you that.

However you have not tried new-style preview in the beta, have you? If you had, you wouldn't be saying this, I'm pretty sure...

Granted it's not behaving perfectly well at the moment, but it certainly doesn't let you alt-tab between forms.

Object-assisted preview in 9 is a "normal" VFP form and therefore doesn't need a "fix" to do what you want. It is VFP-form-style modal unless you use NOWAIT on it (in which case, of course it isn't <s>).
