Hi Henry!
>>Hi Henry!
>>>Hi Hilmar:
>>>Thank you for your response. The actual ip address of the computer I wish to access is 64.110.219.183. However, when my friend moves the mouse over the VNC icon in his system tray, he sees 192.168.1.102. What should I consider doing? Thanks again Hilmar.
>>Is computer your friend that be connected in the Internet or he connects through LAN?

>Hi Erick:
>He connects to the internet using the Lynksys router. That acts as a firewall for him.
In this case the Internet address is only the Lynksys and I think that you cannot access your computer's friend because, like Hilmar said, his IP is only local.
For you can use VNC is necessary that his IP be visible on Internet.
Where your friend works, if any user (through Lynksys route) connects to
www.whatismyip.com, probabily, they get the same address IP.
