Murray, I certainly agree with you that this is a bug.

I didn't offer you a workaround (or two) because it is not a bug, but because it is unlikely to be fixed.

I wanted to try to help, understanding that you would be (understandably) reluctant to change your code at this point.

If you extend the same understanding that I am trying to extend to you, I think you'll see why the VFP dev team might find it less-than-feasible to make this change to old-style preview right now.

However, that doesn't make it "not a bug", regardless of magnitude. I didn't mean to imply that.

It just makes it "not a bug likely to get fixed".

Meanwhile, as to the changes to run your app under VFP 9 and try this out... if it's not worth your time to put REPORTB=90 and some lines pointing to the REPORT*.APPs in a CONFIG.FPW and try it, then I guess it's not <s>.

Granted, you might discover other things you had to change. They might be easy to change, such as delivering REPORTOUTPUT.APP and REPORTPREVIEW.APP with your app along with putting the SET REPORTB 90 line in your CONFIG.FPW. They might not be easy to change, for example, it might turn out that your report expressions require widening because GDI+ takes slightly more room.

You are the only person who can evaluate this.

Certainly I felt that the experiment might be worth your time, but that's really none of my business <s>. I apologize for suggesting it.
