Andrus, really this is NOT TRUE.

There were several bugs preventing the new reporting components from working properly in Win98 in the version you have.

These bugs were *completely unrelated* to the issue of whether or not the full IDE is supported under Windows 98.

But it is working in later builds, and although I understand why you are drawing this conclusion, the report engine CAN be used in Windows 98, IS being used in Windows 98 and IS supported -- IN RUNTIME -- under Windows 98.

For all I know, the reporting components also "will work" under Windows 98 in the full version. There is no dark secret, no unsupported functionality, that the report components call that would prevent this.

However it (along with the rest of VFP 9) IS NOT SUPPORTED under Windows 98 in the full IDE. Not because of anything special about reporting or the functionality on which it relies. Using the full IDE is NOT SUPPORTED under Windows 98 and was not supported for VFP 8 either.
