QB 4.5. This repair is to resolve an "out of string space" issue (KB76512). THe solution is to swap dim data to a "single" var name! What suprized me most (while researching the error) is how many others are are still using and repairing QBX system (book is real good on "dead language":-) platforms.

Its a pretty stable platform - (XP Desktops (app in CMD and Win2K Server)

The system also incorporates .ACT (compressed betrieved) files. They're using a couple of VFP apps I wrote that work their SQL database. Kind of one foot in and one foot out!
