Well, now it's your turn to enlighten me. Under what circumstances do you need to use DIFF functions to see the changes? I assume it's so you can see the revisions made over time? That also doesn't sound like something I need regularly.

Source control handles that stuff for you, why not take advantage of it? I guess I'd just add some manual way of generating the VCA files before checking it in if I didn't use the VFP/VSS integration. I definitely wouldn't want to give up the advantages of it.
