You're correct in thinking that I was going to tell you that I've never had any problem connecting a single field to more than one control on a VFP form. Mind you, I've also never used the VFP Form Wizard (which BTW did not have a save button when I tested it) to create my apps.

So perhaps it is a glitch in the wizard that misled you into thinking that it could not be done.

I should clarify that this happens on data entry forms created using the VFP form generator so it may have to do with the method code in the "Save" button provided in the buttons class and not truly be a VFP characteristic, which I suspect is what you are waiting to tell me.
