I will check those messages now - thanks.

I discussed that (CDO) with the client (they manage the ISP), but their undertanding is that Outlook would need to be installed on the server. I messed around with CDO - and it seems to work - well except for the time I tested it on my office system - it seemed to flush the password from my mailer:-). But it does have a small foot print!

The SendSmtpEmail program as a work around to using aciveX - with a class that uses APIs. It seems that solution would be all VFP.

I still have not figured how to embed the vCalendar object in the mail (I don't know where to (or how) to put it) body - saving that joy for tuesday.
