>I want to determine if my users have a Crystal RDC ("Embeddable Crystal Reports Designer Control") license in order to avoid the not-so-user-friendly automation error that results when they try to use it without the license installed on their machine. I thought the Crystal application object GetLicenseStatus method was the answer, but all I get is an error message, "OLE error code [hex error #]: Not implemented," when I call it with the two parameters (numeric & character) specified in Craig's book, page 199. Anyone have the correct witches' brew to get useful information from this function, or another solution? BTW, CR version 9.0 is in use here.
