This is the exact line, and it does not produce an error--I'm loading a dummy report per your suggestion on your web site.
.oCrystal = CREATEOBJECT("CrystalDesignRuntime.Application")

I thought the Crystal application object GetLicenseStatus method was the answer, but all I get is an error message, "OLE error code [hex error #]: Not implemented," when I call it with the two parameters (numeric & character) specified in Craig's book, page 199. Anyone have the correct witches' brew to get useful information from this function, or another solution? BTW, CR version 9.0 is in use here.
